BIGGER IS BETTER!
How often have you tried to identify the variety of a coin in your collection, only to be confronted with the lack of decent reference photographs?
Me, too.
This website is my small effort to rectify the dearth of high-resolution coin images available online. Here you'll find examples of many of the coins which have passed through my collection, imaged in the highest resolution I'm capable of. Ultimately, I'd like to solicit contributions from other collectors.
CompuCoin is not meant to be a comprehensive reference source. I'm not here to compete with existing reference sites, but rather to be purely a multidemoninational repository of high-resolution images in support of them.

Images are archived and organized using Gallery, a popular open-source web-based photo album organizer. If you like the layout here, I strongly urge you to patronize Gallery yourself.
